Overview

Raised when attempting to divide an integer by 0.

42 / 0   #=> ZeroDivisionError: divided by 0

Note that only division by an exact 0 will raise the exception:

42 /  0.0   #=> Float::INFINITY
42 / -0.0   #=> -Float::INFINITY
0  /  0.0   #=> NaN

Returns true if exception messages will be sent to a tty.

.exception	With no argument, or if the argument is the same as the receiver, return the receiver.
.new	Construct a new `::Exception` object, optionally passing in a message.

#==	Equality—If obj is not an `::Exception`, returns `false`.
#backtrace	Returns any backtrace associated with the exception.
